Junior Accountant
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s Degree in Accounting, or related discipline or a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting work
Must be a team player
Must be sensitive to clients’ needs and able to build positive relationships
Able to prioritize, organize, problem solve, meet deadlines and goals and stay focused through distractions
Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
Must possess strong work ethic, honesty and integrity
Must be friendly and courteous
Must have effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities.
Must have proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Quickbooks Online, keyboarding and 10 key
Must be self-driven, demonstrate initiative and able to adapt to changing priorities
Must be able to positively and proactively manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform tasks assigned by the Accounting Supervisor
Follow directions given by the Accounting Supervisor
Responsible for work accuracy following the established bookkeeping procedures for each assignment
Work with the Fix-It Accounting team supporting each other
Perform special work assignments as determined by the C.E.O. or Accounting Supervisor
Continue to grow professionally so that you can take on additional responsibilities.
