Staff Accountant
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, licensed EA or CPA, or related discipline as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm
Must be a team player
Must be sensitive to clients’ needs and able to build positive relationships
Able to prioritize, organize, problem solve, meet deadlines and goals and stay focused through distractions
Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
Must possess strong work ethic, honesty and integrity
Must be friendly and courteous
Must have effective interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication abilities
Must have proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, ProSeries, Quickbooks Online, keyboarding and 10 key
Must be self-driven, demonstrate initiative and able to adapt to changing priorities
Must be able to positively and proactively manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Possess the following Qualities: Effective Communication, Leadership, Empathy and Compassion, Conflict Resolution, Ability to Delegate, Problem Solving, Time and Priority Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the direction of engagements and/or projects
Establish a personal and direct working relationship with clients
Preparation of Individual tax returns
Preparation of S-Corporation tax returns
Preparation of C-Corporation tax returns
Preparation of Partnership tax returns
Preparation of Estates and Trusts tax returns
Work with the Fix-It Accounting team supporting each other
Perform special work assignments as determine by the C.E.O.
